Look before you leap

Well, the answer to that poll was 4900. Moreover, now the odometer says 65088 and it claims there are 4300 miles left to the next service, and I still don't understand it. It surely can't be taking off 50 miles for every trip? Because most of the trips I make at the moment are only a couple of miles and at this rate I'll be having a 2000-mile 6-month service instead of a 9000-mile annual service. Or of course I could just ignore it. :-)

So… today (except in my timezone it's now yesterday because I keep getting distracted from posting this) was leap day, and apparently it's tradition that women are allowed to propose to men rather than the other way round that supposedly happens the rest of the time. This seems a bit of an outdated concept, but…
