A (great-)grand day out

Have finally got round to splitting the baby pics up into several pages so that you don't have to wait for all 170 thumbnails to load just to see the latest ones (even if they are all below 4K it takes Mozilla a while to arrange them in tabular format). It took longer than I would have liked, but then I do have a baby on my lap. (Clearing my mailbox of Sobig alerts is another thing that took too long.)

I made it to church this morning (10 minutes late) and collected a few back-dated notice sheets to see if T got a mention. He did. :-)

We went on our first drive outside the county today and raised the mileometer to 640 (now at 41.0 miles per gallon). We saw T's great grandma B in Hounslow and his other great grandma and grandad in Weybridge, which was a fairly full afternoon out. One of J's aunties was also there with her son (J's cousin). [I have two surviving grandparents, but they are both up North.]

When we were nearly back in Oxford the car worried me a bit by stalling on the approach to some traffic lights in a 50mph zone while the clutch pedal was fully depressed. At almost exactly the same time, my right ear suffered some hearing loss and started ringing (and it still is, though possibly not as badly and the hearing has almost returned to normal). The car did it again a couple of junctions later, just to prove it wasn't a fluke. Hmm.

Anyway, we did make it home and started making some tea, at which point T decided to bite mummy quite badly and needed bottle feeding - so it was some time later when we got round to our waterlogged pasta.
